Marathon Man
I watched an episode of Eddie Izzard's Marathon Man last nights and was impressed by how much running its possible to do it such a short space of time; 43 marathons in 51 days. It make doing one marathon look a bit pathetic. Its certainly helped with the motivation. (maths: learnt about 'posterior likelihood' yesterday. This is when, using uniform priors the marginalised likelihood isn;t just a mean point estimate but is a distribution retaining the existing uncertainty.
